Everyone is always invited to make a lantern and walk in the Grant Park Conservancy’s Halloween Lantern Parade!
The Lantern Parade is a collaborative community tradition based in participation. Be the parade!
Bring your creepy fabulous lantern to Milledge Fountain on Cherokee Avenue! Food trucks and beverages will be on the scene at 6:00 with parade step-off at 8:00! Perfect for a lantern lit picnic at dusk!
The Black Sheep Ensemble will lead the parade around the paths of the park with the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons giant puppets and goblins! Wasted Potential Brass Band will bring up the rear! The parade will loop back to Milledge Fountain where the bands come together for a magical crescendo! Stay and dance with DJ Tabone until the goblins wear themselves out!
