
Michael D Reeves, CCIM is a driven, creative commercial real estate practitioner in his 16th year with Adams Commercial Real Estate in Atlanta.
Reeves is an experienced entrepreneur, business operator, and developer. As a key partner in three start-ups, he has an in-depth understanding of the cycles of real estate and knowing where the market is in that cycle, identifying today’s opportunities and tomorrow’s values.
Utilizing these experiences Reeves has become an expert on in-town Atlanta redevelopment, adaptive-reuse, investment, and land sales. As a Commercial Realtor, he has successfully advised and represented clients in over $30 million in transactions over the last three years.
A graduate of Amherst College, Reeves started his career as an GE Financial Management Program recruit and graduate in Stamford CT at GE Capital. He is a Chicagoan and a graduate of Lake Forest Academy.
In 2017 Reeves received the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation in Toronto. Michael has served on the Georgia CCIM Chapter Board for 10 years and is the 2023 President. He served on the CCIM Institute’s Strategic Planning Committee 2022; Currently the Vice Chair of Government Affairs; and is an appointed member of the 2023 Finance Committee. At the October 2022 Annual Business Meetings, he was elected to the Board of Directors for 2023 – 2025 term. He is a member of the CCIM JW Levine Leadership Academy Class of 2020-21.
As a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, he serves on the Government Affairs Committee and is on 2023 Board of Directors.
Additionally, he volunteers as an Officer and Treasurer of the Freedom Park Conservancy. He and his spouse Elaine live in Tybee Island, Georgia and in the Old Fourth Ward, Atlanta.
